You will need:
• Super bulky/ super chunky/ 14 ply velvet yarn.
• Beige (1 skein, yarnart dolce 747),
• Dark brown (half a skein, yarnart dolce 804),
• Black (a little, yarnart dolce 742),
• White (a little, yarnart dolce 741),
• Sport weight/ 4ply yarn
• Pink (less than half a skein, yarnart jeans 36),
• Crochet hook size 4 mm; 2.5 mm (pick up according yo your crochet density),
• Safety eyes size 13 mm,
• Synthetic filling,
• Sewing thread for sewing pieces,
• Scissors and needle.
The size of the toy with a similar crochet density is 15-16 cm.
AMIGURUMI HYENA FREE PATTERN
Tail
Dark brown yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in MR
Rnd 2. 6 sc
Rnd 3. (1sc,inc)*3 (9)
Rnd 4. 9 sc
Rnd 5. (2sc,inc)*3 (12)
Add beige yarn.
Rnd 6. (1sc in dark brown, 1sc in beige)*6 (12)
Next, crochet with beige yarn.
Rnd 7. (2sc,dec)*3 (9)
Rnd 8. 9 sc

Rnd 10. 6 sc
Rnd 11. Fold the tail in half and crochet 3 sc through both sides.
Stuff the tail slightly. Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Legs (Make 4)
Dark brown yarn.
Don not cut the yarn on the fourth leg.

Add beige yarn.

Body
Now connect four legs.
Rnd 1. Take the fourth leg (on which you did not cut the yarn) and make ch 3, join the nextleg and crochet 9 sc on it, ch2, join third leg and crochet 9 sc on it, ch2, apply the last leg and crochet 9 sc on it, ch2, next join the fourth leg with 1 sc (so that there are 9 sc on the outside, and 5 sc on the inside) (48)
Place a marker. It runs at the back.

Join the tail in the next round.

Postpone the main crocheting. Let’s move on to crocheting the tummy.
Turn the toy upside down. Attach the beige yarn at the back to the last chain connecting the legs. Crochet in a spiral.

Snout
Dark brown yarn.

Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Embroider a nose on the snout with a triangle using black thread.
Next, we need to make needle sculpting on the outside and on the inside of the eye.
Tongue
4ply yarn of pink color, hook size 2.5 mm

Sew to the snout a little on the side.

Cheeks (Make 2)
Pink yarn.

Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Sew the cheeks under the eyes on the right and left.
Ears
Light part (Make 2)
Beige yarn.

Do not cut the yarn.
Fold both parts together and crochet through both pieces with dark brown yarn: 10 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 9 sc.
Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Sew ears to the head with the sharp side up, between rounds 12 and 20 at a distance of 8 sc.
